  On 06/30/2020 Bureau County Pool sent an employee out to my home to excavate for my pool purchased from Great Escape. Bureau County Pool is the installer for Great Escape. The employee showed up and took my payment of $60 for the excavation that exceeded the depth of what I had already paid for through Great Escape. It was 3 extra inches of excavation at $20/inch. The employee took may payment which could only be cash and gave me a receipt for payment received. The employee then told me his excavation equipment would not fit through my fence, which I had removed per their request. He said he had to leave to go to another job and that the owner Roy, would call me to reschedule the excavation. Later that day Roy called me and advised me, "It isn't financially worth it for me to dig your pool. I only b make $60 so I hope you find someone who will dig it for you." I asked him to clarify that he was not in fact going to perform the service I had paid him for and he said that, "No" he was not. Since that, I have called Roy's office and left messages with no return call. My boyfriend has called Roy on my behalf and been told for over a month now, by Roy himself, that he has "Called his accountant" and I am getting the money returned. On 07/24/2020 Roy advised that I would be receiving the payment in at a maximum, 2 weeks. It is now 08/14/2020, 3 weeks later and I have yet to receive any payment. Today Roy advised he called his accountant and the payment still has not been issued and then hung up. They took my money and gave me a receipt for a service (excavation) that has still not been done so I still do not have a pool.
